  • Responsible for continuous improvement of material flow in the production and Supervises forklift drivers and warehouse operators by Development of employees with regular trainings and briefing, optimizes inventories, performs stock taking.
  • To be responsible for overall movement of Raw material in plant, Provide RM to Manufacturing as per plan from warehouse and to ensure availability of RM at all production points as per production forecast and at optimum cost (inward freight, loading, unloading, rental costs, etc.
  • This position is responsible for maintaining stores and warehouses. It requires interaction with internal functions like Technical Service, Manufacturing, Procurement, Accounts and Customer Service, and external entities like transporters, contractors/contract laborers and Excise and Sales Tax departments occasionally.
  • To receive RM at the warehouse and transfer to production plants by coordinating with transporters & 3PL and ensure RM is delivered to the plant as per plan on FEFO Basis, Knowledge of Implant warehouse operation, inventory management.
  • To ensure Safety for Materials storage, Planning of Raw & Packaging materials, Follow-up with supplier, Compliance with Legal requirements.
  • To ensure monthly inventory reconciliation of physical v/s book stocks, yearly stock audit & Customer Audit compliance, Proper Man management.
  • Ensure GRN as per the Raw packaging Material receipts in the system and follow up with QC Dept for Quality approval before issued to production.
  • To ensure adherence to the Integrated Management System requirements, Dispatch of materials, Smart factory system, good warehousing practices..


  • MBA OR M.Com in Operations management/Material Managements with minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Chemical industry handing warehouse management for all section.
  • Knowledge of all Section in Warehouse operation, Third Party Warehouse Management Experience, SAP knowledge is mandatory.
  • Good Knowledge or experience in all these areas: Inventory management, Warehouse Management, Third Party Warehouse Management, Safety in Warehouse, Tank Farm, Continuous Improvement, Cost Reduction, Quality Management, Lean Manufacturing, Materials Management, Production Systems..
