YOUR ROLE

  • Explores and supports acquisition and divestment projects.
  • Analyzes and builds different future scenarios to create new paths of business incl. timing and investment planning.
  • Supports identifying future market trends, developments/product/service expectations and translates them into business growth opportunities.
  • Supports Sales/Marketing in new technologies / projects / products through deep understanding of product / market / technology / customer.
  • Develops and supports the strategy map / customer roadmaps and steers profitable growth globally / regionally / locally.
  • Executes and customizes strategies for product / technology positioning and defines training and promotional needs with Marketing Collaborates closely with Marketing / Sales / KAM and Business.
  • Development to steer activities Builds relevant customer / market relationships and attends and supports relevant events, exhibitions, trade fairs Performs cross-functional coordination of processes and departments, initiates and supports innovation projects Develops and implements business analysis instruments, provides market and competitive intelligence Aggregates product / technology / application / business model needs.
  • What the Role Can Offer You
  • The Business Development Manager for Automotive E-Mobility is responsible for identifying and driving technical projects at our existing and future customers which are manufacturing components for electric vehicles.
  • Your task will be to identify potential applications at new Battery Cell/Battery Pack/Battery Housing/Box concepts.
  • You will be part of an e-Mobility team that is at Henkel responsible for a fast growing and exciting business with solutions for electric vehicles based on Henkel’s excellent capabilities in thermal materials, adhesives, sealants and functional coatings.
  • You have the lead for building up relationship to our existing and new customers and for successfully closing business opportunities on e-mobility projects.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Automotive background, ideally 5+ Years Job experience in B2B.
  • Preferably Master’s degree in engineering, natural science, chemical engineering or industrial engineering and management.
  • Expertise / understanding of automotive components, chemistry and designs.
  • Proven track record in acquisition and execution of projects, effectively managing simultaneous workstreams and a variety of stakeholders.
  • Strong sense of ownership, entrepreneurial spirit and hands-on mentality.
  • Experience in working effectively in cross-functional and international teams.
  • We are looking for a Business Development Manager who enjoys to be part of a dynamic automotive team driving new vehicle concepts forward with Henkel technologies.
