YOUR ROLE
The Blender / Filler Operator is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Adhesive Process Operation. This person will coordinate mixing activity and processes as directed by the Team Manager and is responsible for the safety and quality of all associates in the area.
- Perform all aspects of blending chemicals.
- Proper operation of all mixers and equipment.
- Transfer of finished product from mixers to storage containers.
- Identify problems and make decisions to correct them.
- Manage inventory of raw materials / chemicals and finished goods.
- Operating forklift, pallet jack and other equipment.
YOUR SKILLS
- HSD / GED required.
- Must pass a pulmonary function test and be clean shaven for secure fit of a respirator.
- Minimum of 2 years manufacturing experience is required.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in chemical handling is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50#, if necessary.
- Basic computer experience required, basic MS Excel experience preferred.
- Ability to work 1st shift 7am - 3:30pm, Mon-Fri, with the flexibility to work overtime as needed
The salary for this role is $18.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
