Our Product Development Center has various kinds of test equipment, including processing, and packaging. Our scientists and process engineers are always ready to assist clients with new product development challenges. Equipped with a thorough understanding of how ingredients respond to different processing methods, they help our customers adapt product recipes for new markets, find smarter processing solutions, make better use of expensive raw ingredients, or simply satisfy our consumers’ desire for new taste experience.
Henkel Flexible Packaging Academy in Mumbai provides training based on the principle of ‘Learning by Doing’. The training program conducted in collaboration with Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP), combines essential theoretical knowledge and hands-on practical training. This state-of-the-art academy provides IIP certified training on lamination technology to entrepreneurs, production managers, supervisors, operators, quality controllers and other professionals of the flexible packaging industry in IMEA region.

The manufacturing facility for Aquence and Technomelt offers a fully automated, data-driven production environment that provides traceability and flexibility for process corrections. It is one of the few chemical manufacturing sites to achieve LEED v4.1 Gold certification from the US Green Building Council based on a holistic energy efficiency concept. It provides a seamless and transparent view of the entire process right from the receiving gate to warehousing, SHE (safety, health, and environment), manufacturing, quality, maintenance, packaging, storage, and shipping.
