YOUR ROLE

  • Working in a dynamic, diversify reactive chemistry hotmelt group. Engage actively with global and regional customers, supplier partners, cross functional and commercial team in developing innovative technology, state of art new products, and solutions for the sports & fashion market.

  • Innovation contributor to new technology, digitalize, automation. Be agile and resilient in driving innovaiton projects forward, meeting stakeholders and customers expectation. Manage key stakeholders’ expectation with clear and effective communication. 

Responsibilities

  • Develop high quality and innovative products to meet SBU strategic & financial goals.
  • Identify new technology trends. Drive strategic important project for achieving high impact business objectives.
  • Develop and implement processes, testing standard for new product validation.
  • Leverage knowledge between labs in multiple locations (globally) and/or suppliers and/or external partners.
  • Strengthen Henkel‘s IP through patent development in area of competence.
  •  Participates in site's safety and/or 5S programs and ensure compliance to Henkel lab operating condition.
  • Support operation on product scale-up, process optimization and quality.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Master's degree in chemistry, polymer science or material science.
  • Fluent verbal & written communication in English & Chinese.
  • Experience with polymer chemistry, synthesis, preferable in polyurethane chemistry.
  • Strategic thinking, proactive, and good communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Innovative and committed to disruptive technology development.
