About this position
What you´ll do
- Assist in preparing monthly demand forecasts using historical sales data and market trends
- Support analysis of demand variability for automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers
- Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, and Production teams to align forecasts
- Monitor forecast accuracy (KPIs) and identify improvement opportunities
- Analyze customer orders, seasonality, and product life cycles
- Help maintain data in planning systems (e.g., SAP APO, IBP, Excel models)
- Prepare reports and dashboards for management
What makes you a good fit
- Ability to do a 12 month internship (8/6h day), availability in Spain, Barcelona
- Currently pursuing a degree in: Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economics or related field
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas; VBA is a plus)
- Interest in automotive industry and chemical products
- Basic understanding of Supply chain concepts (forecasting, inventory, planning)
- Good communication skills in English (German is a plus)
- Experience with ERP tools (e.g., SAP), Power BI, Tableau is a plus
