About this Position

As a Workday HCM Expert, you will play a critical role in ensuring effective operation, continuous improvement, and user support of Workday across the APAC region. Acting as a functional link between HR, IT, payroll, finance, and global teams, you will help ensure that HR systems and processes are accurate, reliable, secure, user-friendly, and aligned with business and employee needs.

In this role, you will provide hands-on Workday support, maintain HR data integrity, troubleshoot system and process issues, support testing and system releases, and identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate HR processes. You will also contribute to broader HR digital transformation initiatives, including the responsible application of artificial intelligence and automation.

Working in a regional and multinational environment, you will collaborate with stakeholders across functions and geographies while serving as a trusted subject matter expert for Workday and HR technology.

What you´ll do

  • Provide functional Workday support across APAC, serving as the go-to expert for questions, incidents, escalations, and day-to-day HR technology needs. Support key modules including Core HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Talent, Learning, and Reporting.
  • Troubleshoot Workday system and process issues, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate sustainable solutions with HR, IT, Global Process Owners, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain HR data quality and governance by performing data checks, reconciliations, audits, mass changes, and approved corrections while ensuring data privacy, security, and access requirements are followed.
  • Support Workday releases, enhancements, configuration changes, and implementations, including test planning, UAT coordination, defect tracking, release readiness, and post-implementation activities.
  • Monitor and support Workday integrations and HR data flows with Payroll, Finance, Recruiting, Learning, and other systems, coordinating resolution of interface and data issues.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate HR processes and Workday workflows, including approvals, notifications, reporting, and employee and manager self-service.
  • Contribute to regional and global HR technology transformation initiatives by providing stakeholder guidance, user training, documentation, and support for the responsible use of AI and automation.

What makes you a good fit

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Technology, Human Resources, or a related discipline, with a minimum of five (5) years of hands-on experience working with Workday, preferably in a regional, multinational, or shared services environment.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in Human Resources, HR Operations, HRIS, or related functions, preferably within a multinational company or shared services environment.
  • Hands-on Workday experience is mandatory, with exposure to modules such as Core HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Talent, Learning, or Reporting; Workday certification is preferred.
  • Experience with HR system integrations, payroll interfaces, data migration, or cross-system HR data flows, with a strong understanding of end-to-end employee lifecycle processes and HR technology.
  • Experience in system testing, UAT, Workday releases, implementations, change management, and continuous improvement, with the ability to identify automation opportunities and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Understanding of HR data privacy, information security, access controls, governance, and audit requirements; exposure to AI or automation within HR processes is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate technical information into clear business language and work effectively across functions and geographies.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills, with a proactive, customer-focused, and improvement-oriented mindset. Amenable to a day shift schedule (9:00 AM to 6:00 PM) and hybrid work set-up in Ayala Avenue, Makati.
