Meet Nitish
During my master's program, I was fortunate enough to intern at Henkel Adhesive Technologies which provided me with an up-close understanding of the company's working culture. I had a fantastic experience at Henkel, where I was able to develop new skills and gain invaluable experience. This positive experience led me to reapply to the organization. Additionally, Henkel offers a broad range of possibilities in the fields of research, engineering, and leadership. I was particularly drawn to Henkel because of its continued investments in sustainability and digitalization, which aligns with my own passions. I was confident that Henkel would provide me with a multitude of possibilities to pursue my interests in these areas.
How was your first experience? What was impressing/exciting/surprising?
I have had an incredible experience at Henkel thus far. My supervisor and colleagues have been accommodating and supportive, assisting me from the onboarding process to answering technical questions related to my project. It's effortless to connect with people, even at a higher level, making communication very easy. The infrastructure at Henkel, particularly the inspiration center, is impressive and motivates me to come to the office every day, in addition to the exciting tasks I'm working on. One of the most impressive things about Henkel is the emphasis they place on collaboration.
What do you like most about your job and your team? What is special?
The versatility that Henkel offers is the most important aspect of my job, and it's something I truly appreciate. As part of the graduate program, I have the opportunity to work in various business units and projects, which is a fantastic learning experience, especially at the start of my career. Working in a team environment has been particularly enjoyable as it has allowed me to learn from my colleagues. The ability to visit international sites has given me exposure to different cultures and has added to my learning curve. Lastly, the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of millions of people through Henkel's innovative technology is one of the most rewarding aspects of my job.
What would be an advice you would give to a young graduate starting in AE in Henkel?
My advice to young graduates would be to stay open-minded and explore the various possibilities that come their way. Henkel provides numerous opportunities to gain experience and grow, and it's up to each individual to shape their own future. As an international organization, Henkel offers countless options for collaborating and networking with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences. Finally, having the right attitude and a willingness to learn can go a long way in helping young graduates excel at Henkel Adhesive Technologies.
