Researchers’ World will instill in children, the Inherent trait of a researcher which is curiosity and build a love for science

Henkel launches Researchers’ World & its CSR Coffee Table Book

Henkel Adhesives Technologies India Private Limited (a fully owned subsidiary of Henkel AG & Co. KGaA), the leading solution provider for adhesives, sealants and functional coatings today unveiled its CSR Coffee Table Book & launched Researchers‘ World an educational initiative designed to introduce children into the fascinating world of science.

Researchers‘ World is an out-of-school learning environment focusing on using scientific methods, critical testing, analysis, interpretation of data, science, and of course: creativity. The content is specifically tailored to children ages 8 to 10 and takes a holistic approach towards teaching and learning by putting children into the role and workplace of an actual researcher.

The event was graced by Dr. Jürgen Morhard, Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Mumbai & Dr Ramaswami N., Commissioner, Navi Mumbai, Municpal Corporation where they launched the coffee table book and witnessed the Researchers‘ world experiments conducted by children. They endorsed the main goal of the program is not only to intrigue young minds to take up science, but to show that science and research takes collaboration and can be an engaging field to pursue. Moreover, it is to prove that research is not limited to being in a laboratory – but that curiosity can be applied to all parts of everyday life.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mr (spokesperson of Henkel), “Henkel India aims to provide underprivilleged children across the country with better access to education. Researchers‘ World through specific learning objectives, will help children gain insight into the process of scientific inquiry. It gives us great joy to give children access have made a difference to the lives of a few lesser privilleged with better acces and knowledge.”

Speaking at the Launch, Dr. Jürgen Morhard, Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Mumbai, said “I would like to congratulate Henkel on the initiative taken through Researchers‘ World to provide access to underprivileged  children and creating curiosity among children the inherent trait of a researcher.”

Dr Ramaswami N., Commissioner, Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation said, “Henkel has been working to provide access to the schools and with Researchers‘ World their aim is to enable children to get a taste of being real scientists and explore the world with fun. Such initiatives are giving the entire education system a huge upgrade. This will definitely be a great aid to both teachers and students alike.”
