About this Position
- HCB Asia’s business is rapidly expanding, leading to an increase in both the number and size of investment projects in the region.
- The objective of this role is to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide engineering support for capital investment projects throughout the entire project lifecycle, from feasibility analysis to vertical start-up.
- These projects primarily focus on capacity expansion, continuous improvement, and innovation.
What you´ll do
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, consolidate necessary inputs, and evaluate and develop engineering technical solutions.
- Conduct feasibility studies and develop engineering technical solutions to support business decision-making and the investment approval process.
- Manage and steer the execution of regional strategic projects with cross function team, being accountable for budget, timeline, standards, and scope of work.
- Act as a technical consultant, providing technical assistance and sharing knowledge with plant engineering, maintenance, and operation teams based on requests or assignments.
- Coordinate and interact with different suppliers including Henkel preferred suppliers.
- Support additional regional engineering tasks:
- Prepare materials and reports for Steering Committee meetings.
- Monitoring and reporting on project timing, investment, and CAPEX,
- Preparation of investments and managing all molds related investments.
What makes you a good fit
- University Degree in one of the followings engineering disciplines: mechanical, electrical, industrial, or chemical engineering.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in project management/technology management in a manufacturing environment preferable in FMCG.
- Familiar with filling and packing technology in FMCG. Automation background is preferred. Maintenance and production experience in FMCG is a plus.
- Strong project management skills in China.

b. Experience to manage project with over 5 M Euro investment including civil and production equipment. - Strong commitment to safety, sustainability, and quality
- Ability to lead and collaborate with multi-functional teams.
- Fluent Mandarin and English communication skills. Other languages are a plus.
- Skills in CAD software, MS Project, MS office tools.
- Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
